A Ceremony at Gulf Shores Wedding Chapel

If you’re looking for a place to have your intimate beach wedding but you don’t want the sand stuck in your satin dress, then check out the Gulf Shores Wedding Chapel. With stained glass windows, pews for guests, and the pavilion that offers shade your dream can come true at this venue.

Check out this wedding that this bride and groom had at the Gulf Shores Wedding Chapel! They wanted the best of both worlds, and that’s exactly what they got here.

Spacious Wedding Chapel with Elegant Touches

The Gulf Shores Wedding Chapel offers an air conditioned one room building with an altar and rows of pews. If your wedding dream includes walking down the aisle in a little white church (I hope you sang that!) then you can totally live that out here. The chapel has beautiful stained glass that resembles those of large cathedrals with lots of natural light during the day.

Inside the wedding chapel there are numerous rows of pews for those whom have guests attending. The Gulf Shores Wedding Chapel can accommodate up to 100 guests and welcomes small, intimate weddings and elopements. If having zero guests excites you though, it can be just the two of you!

Conveniently Located by the Beach

The Gulf Shores Wedding Chapel is only a few miles from the public beach access. If you are looking for a venue near the beach that doesn’t involve sand this could be one for you. The chapel allows you to still have paradise in your back pocket but still enjoy the cleanliness and air conditioning of a venue.

Having your wedding ceremony at the chapel gives you multiple options for beautiful backdrops as well. The venue sits next to a pond with a walkway over the water. It has houses a pavilion, tons of colorful flowers, as well as an outside courtyard for receptions or dinners. The location also can allow you to still have those dreamy beach wedding portraits but without all of your guests having to join.

A Real Gulf Shores Wedding Chapel Wedding

If you’re still wondering what a real wedding could look like here at the chapel, maybe this story can help you. This couple wanted to spend their time at the beach with their family. They wanted a vacation and a wedding all in one. B & J opted for a wedding at the Gulf Shores Wedding Chapel.

The couple started their day at different condos; each with different family members. They wanted to keep the tradition of not seeing one another until the aisle. The bride’s getting ready moments were shared with mom, grandmother, and sisters. The grooms was spent with close friends and brothers.

When it was time to say I do, B & J hid away at the venue and waited for their guests to get settled inside the chapel. The doors opened ,the bride walked through, and her father walked her down the aisle to her groom. She always wanted a church wedding but also wanted something a little less traditional. This was the perfect match.

After the ceremony, they shared moments together under the trees and on the pier of the pond. Their portraits were done right next to the chapel where they said their vows. Once complete, they were able to share dinner and fellowship with all of their guests. Appetizers were served and their cake was cut, ceremonially unifying them as one.

The night ended with them driving off into the moonlight with strings dangling from their car. They were then off to their vacation with family for the week at the beach!
